Annette Miller is a Certified Family Mediator who combines over two decades of corporate negotiation experience with deep personal empathy to help families navigate complex divorce, custody, and probate disputes.
Before transitioning into family mediation, Annette spent more than 20 years leading business development and multi-stakeholder teams at global tech leaders like VMware and IBM. That background built her core strengths: active listening, design thinking, value creation, reframing high-tension objections and bringing conflicting parties to consensus. Today, she redirects those skills away from commercial persuasion and toward facilitating mutual, lasting resolutions for families in crisis.
What sets Annette apart is not just her formal training – including advanced certifications in mediation and family dispute resolution from UT Dallas and UT San Antonio – but her lived experience. Having navigated a difficult divorce and custody battle herself, Annette understands firsthand the overwhelming feeling of putting your family’s future into the hands of a stranger in a courtroom. She knows how critical it is to retain control over your own story, your children’s routine, and your path forward.
Based in McKinney, Texas, Annette is affiliated with the Texas Association of Mediators, the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association, and the Texas Council on Family Violence.
